Although we promote cabin unity by scheduling many activities by cabin groups, we do feel like campers should be able to choose to explore activities that truly interest and excite them.

At least once a day choice activities are offered to our campers. Also, twice a day free time is offered to allow valuable opportunities for our campers to practice a skit for an evening campfire, rest, write a letter home, or just play cards with friends. The choice is theirs!

Over the course of the session our campers are exposed to variety of activities and adventures.  Some familiar and some very new and different. Our goal is to offer an environment where they feel comfortable and confident to explore new challenges while continuing to enjoy old favorites.  Our staff offer support and encouragement but will never push a child beyond their limits. It's about having fun, always being safe, and never loosing site of just how fortunate we are to have what we have.

Session One: Sunday August 8, 2010 - Sunday August 15, 2010 ( 8 days)

Session Two: Sunday August 8, 2010 - Thursday August 19, 2010 ( 12 days)

We are excited to offer this extended stay program where a small group of campers  head off to the Mendocino coast and explore an amazing part of California. Campers will have choices to hike, kayak, fish, cook, and maybe even swim during this trip, and the focus is towards experiencing all of this while working together as a group. Campers and staff camp in tents or have he option to sleep out under the stars near the fire. All campers and staff lend a hand and help with cooking, cleaning, and site set up / pack up.
