Our Program
Hours:
9:15 AM until 3:45 PM Monday through Friday
Philosophy:
At Adventure Day Camp the 3 week program is designed to allow campers to comfortably participate in both group and individual activities at their own pace. We feel the very first place our campers should feel at home is in their camp group. Bonding with other campers and their counselor is after all what summer camp is all about. Our sessions begin with a majority of the activities offered within this group setting. We find this not only helps to create an environment where campers can try new and exciting activities that might otherwise seem intimidating, but it also insures that they are exposed to all the activities we offer.
As our sessions progress we begin to introduce more choice related activities to all of our campers, especially to our 3rd through 9th graders. It's at this point we feel our campers have had a taste of all our activities and should now be able to focus on the ones that interest them the most.
