Adventure Day Camp uses fully equipped 15 to 25 passenger vans and buses, all equiped with seat belts, to transport our campers. The Camp, as part of California's Employee Testing Program, is authorized by the DMV to issue Class B Drivers Licenses to qualified staff members. Our drivers must be at least 21 years of age and possess a clean driving record. The Camp's Transportation Director tests and monitors all of our drivers, each of whom conducts thorough bus checks prior to the start of each day.
If you choose our Home Transportation option, we will pick up your child at your door between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., and will drop off between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. Specific pick up and drop off times within these ranges will be consistent from the first day onward. Although a director will review all special requests regarding pick up and drop off times, please note that not all such requests may be accommodated. We service Moraga, Orinda, Lafayette, the 680 corridor from Martinez to San Ramon, and most of Oakland. We service Berkeley in the Rockridge area. We do not service the Hills of Oakland, Berkeley, and Orinda. If we foresee any problems servicing your family door to door, we will contact you to discuss other options. Please see our Dates and Rates page for additional costs.
